Gen25 sets course for further growth as a cloud platform specialist with Managing Director next to CEO.
“At a boutique player like Gen25, in addition to knowledge, personal attention and trust from colleagues and customers are also important. In order to properly guide our growth and give everyone the attention they deserve, Jan Dost will take up the role of Managing Director of Gen25 from March 25, 2023,” says Gijs Martens, CEO of Gen25. Gijs Martens will remain active as CEO of Gen25.
Gen25 was the first Salesforce partner in the Netherlands and has seen the CRM landscape grow and change over the past 15 years. With the further growth of the organisation as a specialist in the field of multi-cloud implementations in Salesforce and AWS, the team of consultants and software specialists is also growing.
Connecting value chain
Jan Dost has been involved with Gen25 since mid-2018, first as Customer Engagement Director and since the end of 2020 as COO. Jan Dost: “Customers are increasingly seeing the strategic value of a broader digital platform in the organization and are looking at improving and optimizing end-to-end processes. Connecting the marketing-sales-service value chain certainly results in more organizational efficiency and a better customer experience.”
Remove data bottleneck
Connecting organizational units such as marketing, sales and service also removes an important data bottleneck. Research shows that 7 out of 10 organizations are hindered by fragmented data. On the other hand, almost every organization wants to get more value from data and AI. “If you start feeding Analytics dashboards or AI algorithms with fragmented or incomplete data, you will aim for incomplete results with all the associated risks. We are working with our customers to improve that.” Thus Dost.
20% growth through multi cloud platforms
Creating integrations and broader solutions has always been a strength of Gen25. With more than 200 implementations, the organisation was already known as a multi-cloud platform specialist. In 2022, a Mulesoft partnership was added as one of the first Salesforce partners in the Netherlands. Gen25 offers even more integration options via the Mulesoft platform. In 2023, Gen25 wants to grow 20% in revenue with a strong focus on the creation of Salesforce-based digital platforms. That is why the organization is being developed in line with this.
Boutique player
Jan Dost; “This year, in line with our ambitions, we want to add 20 new colleagues to the Gen25 team. We see that the competitive field is changing with many acquisitions of boutique players by larger corporates. The independent character of Gen25 together with a diverse customer base helps us to find the right talent, even in a tight labor market.”
Gen25 is a well-known Salesforce player for organizations in retail & consumer goods such as Beter Bed, Quooker and de Bijenkorf. In addition, Gen25 serves many customers in financial services with ABN Amro and Optiver and leisure with Basic-Fit and Corendon. Gen25 is also doing well among scale-ups with well-known clients such as Mollie, Biller and Tribes.
