This Privacy and Cookie Statement applies to Gen25 BV, Gustav Mahlerlaan 350-B, 1082 ME Amsterdam, and its affiliated companies: GoMeddo BV, Social25 BV, Subscription25 BV, Tickets25 BV and Gen25 Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as 'Gen25' or 'we').

Personal data is only processed when necessary and when there is a legitimate basis for doing so. Gen25 may act in the role of 'controller' or as 'processor' in the sense of the General Data Protection Regulation ('AVG').

3. What personal data do we collect?

Gen25 collects, processes and manages personal data of job applicants, employees, former employees and business relations. The kind of data we collect depends on the business relation we have with you. Below is explained which data we collect from you, depending on your relationship with Gen25.

4. Do we process your personal data outside of Europe?

We do not process your personal data outside of Europe. 

5. How do we protect your personal data?

We treat personal data confidentially and with the greatest possible care. Gen25 secures its systems against loss or against any form of unlawful use or processing. Gen25 uses appropriate technical and organisational measures. Your data are adequately secured in accordance with the applicable privacy laws and regulations. Gen25 complies with the worldwide accepted standard for information security ISO 27001:2017.


6. With whom do we share your personal data?

We share your personal data only in accordance with the purposes made known to you. In addition, we may share your personal data with government, law enforcement or regulators if required by law.


7. Binding Corporate Rules

Gen25 does not have binding corporate rules as defined in article 47 of the AVG.


8. How long do we keep your personal data?

Gen25 applies the following retention periods:

our weeks after rejection

Personal data for business relationship management

as long as the relationship exists or as required by law

personal data that are processed for the execution of work

in accordance with the agreements made with the client

No longer than 6 months after the right of access has expired


9. What rights do you have regarding the processing of your personal data?

You have the right to access, rectify or delete the data processing that concerns you. You can object to the processing and to data portability. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent. Requests related to the rights described above can be submitted to privacy@gen25.com. If you feel that Gen25 has not complied with data protection rules you can lodge a complaint with the personal data authority.

10. What cookies do we use?

In addition to personal data, Gen25 uses 'cookies'. Cookies are small data files stored by your browser on your computer or mobile device. Such cookies allow a website to "recognise" you as a user and remember your activities and/or preferences. 

Most Internet browsers support cookies. However, it is possible for a user to adjust their browser settings to block certain types of cookies or specific cookies. Users can also choose to delete cookies at any time. 

We use cookies to ensure that you have a positive experience every time you visit the Gen25 website. These cookies help analyse how visitors interact with the Gen25 website. We may then use this information to better tailor our website to match visitors' online behaviour and improve your user experience. To this end, we use Google Analytics, Hotjar and Salesforce Pardot first-party cookies. Neither Gen25, Hotjar nor Google can personally identify you or link your online activity to an identity. Cookies do not store any personal data, but record information such as IP address, web browser and operating system. 

Cookies are stored on your computer for a maximum of 24 months and you have the option - via your browser settings - to delete the cookies at any time. 

Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behavior and their devices. This includes a device's IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), and the preferred language used to display our website. Hotjar stores this information on our behalf in a pseudonymized user profile. Hotjar is contractually forbidden to sell any of the data collected on our behalf.
