Gen25 at Dreamforce 2018

Blog Melle de Ronde | 19-09-2018 Dreamforce, Salesforce, Gen25

With less than one week to go, the Gen25 team is gearing up for Dreamforce 2018. From the 25th until the 28th of September a team of Gen25 sales executives, consultants and a developer will be in San Francisco to attend the biggest tech event of the year.

I'm a Dreamforce first-timer and very excited to be joining the team this year. With more than 2700 session to choose from, I'll have plenty to see, do and learn. In preparation for next week I asked my colleagues what they're most looking forward to.

What are you most looking forward to at Dreamforce 2018?

– Gijs Martens, Founder and CEO

As a sponsor of the Innovation Tour I’m looking forward to meeting all participants, clients and partners from the Benelux & Nordics region, and learning about their challenges and successes. It’s always great to visit the Expo and attend a few sessions in between meetings. At the end of the day, the team tries to get together and catch up, team building is important!

– Anouk Goossens, Sales executive

This is my second Dreamforce and I find it very exciting to meet so many inspiring people through the event. Everyone I meet with is full of new ideas and so are we, which makes for great conversations. If you’re around and want to catch up, you can get in touch with me on +31 652 18 48 44 or send me an email: a.goossens@gen25.com.

– Tim Schuitemaker, Sr project manager

I have been to Dreamforce a couple of times already and I’m already looking forward to putting the things I hear and learn there into practice when we get back. I prefer the smaller practical sessions over the large keynote speeches, although you really can’t miss them when you’re there.

– Dennis Wever, Salesforce solution architect

The sessions which I’m most looking forward to are about Financial Services Cloud and Mulesoft. I’m hoping to get inspired and bring the knowledge back home.

– Joris van Wessem, Sales Executive Apps

This is my first time at Dreamforce too and I’m pretty much looking forward to everything. For me it is especially useful to learn more about the other ISV’s out there, see what their best practises are and learn from them. I have a few meetings scheduled, but there’s room for more if anyone wants to chat about Booker25 or Social25, send me an email at j.vanwessem@gen25.com I'm happy to meet up

– Teun Rietman, Sr Salesforce consultant

Anything that has to do with Field Services, Health Cloud and AI I find very interesting. I’m also going to have a look for AppExchange apps which can help us accelerate a Salesforce implementation without compromising on quality. This is great for our customers and for us. There are so many AppExchange solutions, it’s always good to stay up to speed with the latest developments.

– Randy Groen, Apex developer

I’m the only developer joining the group this year and I’m very excited about representing the team in San Francisco. AI was a hot topic at Dreamforce last year and I saw there are some hands-on workshops on setting up Einstein bots and Einstein Prediction Builder this year, that could be interesting. I’m also looking forward to be updated about the future of Salesforce DX and Lightning Components.

It's great to see my colleagues so excited and it's definitely infectious. The incredible offering of workshops, sessions, product and industry keynotes and activities is overwhelming, but I’m so excited to be part of this massive tech-community all coming together for these days in San Francisco. The team and I will be writing about our experiences at Dreamforce all next week, so stay tuned for our other blogs.

If you’re at Dreamforce and interested in grabbing a coffee with one of us, let us know!
